Taking its inspiration from the light Rococo style made famous by Louis XV, the luxury Juliette French Upholstered Bed is the perfect blend of French styling and Sunday morning comfort! This French sleigh bed will sit beautifully in any bedroom.

This classic French bed has been intricately hand-carved from white cedar, with charmingly curved upholstered headboard and footboard, and delicate cabriole legs.

This frame has been hand painted in White and is in our hand distressed finish.

The slats for the bed are very thick and made from solid Hard Wood, our beds are not only built to impress but also to last.

All of our bed bases are supplied with solid hard wood slats. They will either be supplied loose or on a roll and have a width of 5-7cm and depth of 1.5cm each. We understand that mattress manufacturers have different requirements for slat spacing - please contact us to discuss if you would like a certain spacing on your bed. Please note, we are only able to add extra slats to orders with notice at least 24 hours prior to dispatch.
To ensure that you get maximum use out of your new Solid Wood bed, please follow the care instructions closely.

Your item is made with a solid White Cedar or Mahogany carcass. As wood is an organic material it is sensitive to the changes in climate and can expand and contract when hot or cold. Please ensure that you keep your new item away from central heating, in a room that is at a constant temperature.

If you have an upholstered item, any fluids or chemicals should be kept away from the fabric. This can stain or mark the fabric. Please keep naked flames away from the material.

Please use coasters when placing a drink of any sort down onto the painted finish.

Dust the item regularly with a microfibre cloth and minimal furniture polish.

After a month to 6 weeks bolts may need re-tightening as the furniture settles.

During the production process there are many opportunities for the slats to become dusty. Please use your best judgement when assembling as to whether they would need a wipe down.

Please remember that the slats are made from Solid Hard Wood and are untreated. This may result in the natural oils leaving marks on the mattress, should you wish this not to happen take precautionary measures necessary.
